Starting A Game:
Ready to start a game?! We’ll walk you through it! In the lobby you will find the Main Menu that contains all available game modes.
Multiplayer
Quick Match:
Sometimes you just want to hop into a game and this is the feature for you! By using Quick Match the game will find an open multiplayer game and put you in it! After you press Quick Match you can see the game searching for an open party and then you will be able to join if it finds an open party.
Private Game:
In Private Game, you have the option to either host a private room or enter a code for a private room shared by a friend. Hosting a room will require you to invite an Oculus friend or you may give the Room Code to your friend so they can enter it on their end to join your party. Public Game:
In a public game you can host a game with friends and soon to be new friends! Players can list open games, games that have a place in the party, for others to join!
Single Player:
Single player means you'll only be playing against an AI Bot, in a hall of your choosing. You can also select different kinds of bots with different kinds of stats so you can choose the one that matches with your current stats to play a fair game or you can pick a hard bot if you're up for the challenge. Check out this article for more information on AI Bots,Playing Against An AI Bot. (link article)
Pass and Play:
Local play! Only have one headset and want to share it with your friends and family? Pass and Play is for you! Pass and Play is for two players to take turns using the headset.
Once you've chosen which kind of game mode you'd like to play, all you'll have to do is choose a hall. For multiplayer options, there's no option to pick a bot. Once that's done, you can click on “Play” to get started! Remember, for Quick Match, you'll be hopping into a game so you won't have the option to play with a bot or pick halls.
