Hand and Social Interactions

What are the hand and social interactions? 

We currently have six different hand interactions! These are made by a combination of gestures and buttons on your controller! By doing these interactions you will see some cooool effects! We are super excited to add in more ways of being social!  

How to Thumbs Up? 👍

To “Thumbs Up” you hold the grip and trigger buttons on your controller with the thumb away from the buttons on the top of the controller facing up. When your fingers are pressing the grip and trigger buttons with your thumb vertical it will, in real life, look like you are making a thumbs up. You might need to hold it for a couple of seconds to see it take effect! When you do it successfully you will see a green thumbs up! 

How to Thumbs Down? 👎

To “Thumbs Down” it is the same as thumbs up but your thumb needs to face down, just like a real life thumbs down. When you do it successfully you will see a red thumbs down! 

How to Finger Guns - Pew Pew Pew? 👉✨

To “Finger Guns” you hold the grip button and tap (lightly press, not actually fully pressing down) on either the toggle stick or XY/BA buttons. By repeatedly tapping and holding the grip button you will see the “Pew Pew Pew” shooting out from the finger.   

How to Fist Bump? 🤜💥🤛

To “fist bump” you need to hold the grip and trigger buttons and cover the XY/BA(whichever hand you are using) buttons and then make contact with the other person's hand (their hand must also be in a fist shape). Fun fact you can also fist bump yourself! You can hold the grip and trigger buttons with both hands and cover the XY/BA with your thumb on both controller, knock your fists together and you will see the effect! When you do it successfully you will see green/blue stars and lines from your fists!  

How to High Five or Clap? 👏

To high five or clap you pretty much do it like you would in real life but while holding the controllers(without pushing buttons)!  

How to Ok? 👌

To make an “OK” you will need to cover the XY/BA buttons and press the trigger button of whatever hand you are using. You might need to hold it for a couple seconds for it to take effect! When you do it successfully you will see a yellow symbol from your hand!
