First: look outside your headset to make sure you have enough room to have a full arm swing behind you and in front of you for a good throw. Stretch your arms to the side, as well, you may want to dance when you get a strike.
Next: look toward the way you’re going to be throwing on the lane. Hold down the Oculus button on your right controller. That should re-center you on the lane. If not, you can use your left and right stick to snap into location. Then, teleport to where you want to be. It may be easier to back up to the second line of glowing dots on the floor to teleport forward to your perfect angle.
Choosing your position will depend on your personal style. Some people like to line up with the arrows more left or right, depending on whether they are right or left-handed.
For newer bowlers: if you’re right-handed, look down and try putting your right foot on the center. If left-handed, try putting your left foot on the center.
This will help you line up the arrows down the lane. It can also help you remember your favorite position for bowling strikes. You can try the back dots or the fore dots.
