Throwing darts is super fun and easy!
Hand Tracking: If you are using hand tracking you will need to look towards your darts. Grab a darts like you would a real life dart by pinching it. Hold that pinched pose with your hand as you bring the dart in front of your face. Keep your elbow in front of your chest and your forearm straight. Try to move the dart as straight forward and backward as possible. Line up your shot, if you are using easy or medium throw you will see the blue projection line from your dart to the board, this will help you see where the dart should end up. Smoothly launch the dart straight forward and release the pinching pose. Remember to throw slowly and keep your hands in view of the headset’s camera to ensure tracking!
Controller: If you are using controllers you will need to extend a hand to your chosen dart. Pick up the dart by pressing the front trigger of the controller. Hold that button until you want to release the dart. Keep your elbow in front of your chest and your forearm straight. Try to move the dart as straight forward and backward as possible. Line up your shot, if you are using easy or medium throw you will see the blue projection line from your dart to the board, this will help you see where the dart should end up. Smoothly launch the dart straight forward and release the trigger. Remember to throw slowly and keep your controllers in view of the headset’s camera to ensure tracking!
To switch between hand tracking and controllers you will need to enable hand tracking from your device’s settings (Settings -> Device -> Hands and Controllers), close the settings menu, put the controllers down, and start using hands in darts! We suggest you try both hand tracking and controllers to see which one you prefer! Game on!
