Here is a list of common pool terms!
Open Table: The balls have been broken but a team has not been decided.
Break: This is the first shot of the game where one player uses the cue ball to break apart the racked object balls
Solids: Balls that have a solid color. Solids are numbered one to eight. These are sometimes called lows in 8-ball.
Stripes: Balls which are white and have different bands of color around their middle. Stripes are numbered 9 to 15. In 8-ball, some players refer to stripes as highs.
Foul: When you break a rule causing the other player to be able to place the cue ball wherever they like on the next shot.
Pockets: Pockets are the six holes pool players use to sink, or pocket, balls.The pockets in the four corners of a pool table are known as corner pockets. The pockets in the middle of the long sides of the table are called side pockets.
Ball In Hand: For any foul that occurs the next player will have the ball in hand. That means the other player gets to place the cue anywhere on the table for their next turn.
Cue stick: This is the stick players use to strike a cue ball. You can more of these in the lobby and set up your arsenal.
Cue ball: This is the white ball a player strikes with a cue.

- Potted!: Pocketed the first ball in the turn
- Back 2 Back!: Pocketed the second ball in the turn
- Hat Trick Hero!: Pocketed the third ball in the turn
- Four x Four!: Pocketed the fourth ball in the turn
- Burning 5!: Pocketed the fifth ball in the turn
- Sinking 6!: Pocketed the sixth ball in the turn
- Lucky 7!: Pocketed the seventh ball in the turn
Eight and Out!: Pocketed the eighth ball in the turn
